UVI actors and the Artaura Foundation, Inc. directed by miss Kathleen Pascal reenact a scene of the 1892 Coal Workers' Strike at Fort Christian. "Police Officers" Jahleel Lake and Anthony Petersen, Jr. 7th Annual Dollar Fo' Dollar Culture & History Tour & MIni Coaling Exhibit. In remebrance of the 1892 Coal Workers Strike on St. Thomas "livicated" to Ras Jahstarr Koniyah. Held annually in September, the tour celebrates the successful protest of 19th centry coal laborers in the streets of downtown Charlotte Amalie for better pay. Mary Ann Christopher plays the role of Queen Coziah who led the successful revolt. © Aisha-Zakiya Boyd
