The India Association of the Virgin Islands celebrates the end of Ganesha Chaturthi the ten day Hindu festival to honor the elephant-headed god Ganesha. During the festival adherents chant and sing songs of worship, present offerings of fruit and flowers, and whisper prayers and wishes to the god.
