Adherents whisper wishes and prayers into the ears of Lord Ganesha. The India Association of the Virgin Islands celebrates the end of Ganesha Chaturthi the ten day Hindu festival to honor the elephant-headed god Ganesha. During the festival adherents chant and sing songs of worship, present offerings of fruit and flowers, and whisper prayers and wishes to the god.
